Forum Fixed!

Its been a long while, but I finally got the forum software updated and turned back on. So head on over and check it out. If you've got old content, it should all be there (with one or two minor exceptions). Let me know if you see anything that needs fixin.

I can't believe it

Its been four years since I started starherofandom. Ok, what's worse is that I have been away from it for two years. Busy with real life and face-to-face gaming. But I've decided I need to get back to here, and so I'm making an effort to make time for starherofandom. That includes promoting, and getting folks from the Hero forums to put up their Star Hero creations here. It also includes getting the forums running again, which should happen this week in fact. I may even give the site a face lift. This blogging engine is old (but it works), so I'm still not sure if I'll change that or not... More soon!

As you may have noticed, I broke my web server yesterday. So, after 24 hours of rebuilds and database recovery, we're back up. Almost. For some reason I am getting SQL errors when I try to import the private message data. I'll keep working on getting that back up, but honestly it will be a low priority unless someone really really needs it recovered.

This site is fan run, which means we're fan supported. The only way we'll grow is if you - the Star Hero fans - contribute. Send us links to your Star Hero stuff on the web.

If you don't have a web site, we will host it for you! Free! We'll create a section on this site just for your Star Hero stuff. If you're HTML savy, we'll give you FTP access to your directory so you can make changes yourself. If you're not HTML savy, then we'll take care of it for you. Its all part of making this the best Star Hero site on the web. If you want a place to talk about your Star Hero stuff, we'll set up a section for you in the Forums, and make you a moderator of that section. How cool is that?
