Brakiri are a male dominated patriarchal society, but under the corporate government of the Krona women have gained significant opportunities to rise to prominent position and sexism is waning.  Brakiri prize success, money, happiness, and comfort.  They tend to be iconic and cliquey.  While the Brakiri get along very well with humans and the Centauri prior to the war in 2263, the do not mesh well with other races.
