I finally managed to get the time to upgrade the board's software and turn it back on. I'm still tweaking things, but everything should be more or less intact from the v2 software.
The reason I shut down the board originally was that it did get hacked - phpbb was not the most secure forum software around, but I was/am on a budget. And while its not what I would use if I were to start all over again, since there was a fair amount of content already in place, I felt it was important to at least get that content back up before doing anything else. Anyway, I know there is some content missing, notably in the B5 thread, and maybe a few admin messages. But I think everything else is okay.
If you see anything amiss, please let me know...
